Dog UTI

Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms

My two year old jack russell terrier has had two urinary tract infections over the 12 months. The first time, I didnt know what was going on. The second time, I took him to the vet as soon as I seen the symptoms. Here are a few dog urinary tract infection symptoms:

- Blood in dog's urine. Hard to see in some dog's urine, but if you can see the blood yourself, get to a vet quick!
- Your dog whines or strains when urinating.
- Your dog's urine has a bad smell.
- Your pet is whining to go out more often or is having accidents in the house.
- Your dog is lethargic, lazy, not enough energy to do what he/she normally does.
Also note not all dogs will show all the symptoms above. Again, if you suspect your dog has a UTI, bring him or her to the vet!
I will post more signs and symptoms soon so keep checking back here.
